Sorana Cirstea faces Sara Bejlek at the Ningbo Open, a WTA hard-court event in China. The match contrasts Cirstea’s veteran experience with Bejlek’s younger, less established profile.
Sorana Cirstea: veteran hard-court striker
Cirstea, from Romania, is a long-serving WTA professional known for aggressive baseline hitting and early initiative. On hard courts her flat power can trouble opponents, but public reports suggest consistency remains the key variable.
Sara Bejlek: Czech challenger with room to grow
Bejlek represents the younger generation of Czech tennis. Public reports present her as a developing talent; against an experienced hitter, the matchup tests her ability to absorb pace and extend rallies.
