Filip Peliwo of Canada faces Georgia's Saba Purtseladze at the ATP Challenger tournament in Ningbo, China. The outdoor hard-court match is scheduled for 25 October 2026.
Filip Peliwo: baseline consistency
Peliwo, born in 1994, is a former junior world No. 1 and 2012 Wimbledon and US Open junior champion. Public reports suggest the Canadian prefers baseline rallies, using counterpunching and consistency to pressure opponents on hard courts.
Saba Purtseladze: first-strike tennis
Purtseladze represents Georgia and, by public reports, plays an aggressive first-strike style. The matchup tests whether Peliwo can absorb pace and extend rallies against Purtseladze's shot-making.
