Lorenzo Musetti (Italy) faces Frances Tiafoe (USA) at the Erste Bank Open, an ATP 500 event on indoor hard courts in Vienna. Start: 27 October 2026, 09:00 UTC.
Musetti’s variety on indoor hard
Musetti is a right-hander with a one-handed backhand, known for spin, slice and court craft. Indoor hard rewards timing and serve efficiency; his changes of pace can disrupt rhythm, while first-serve percentage remains important.
Tiafoe’s first-strike game in Vienna
Tiafoe, a right-handed American, favors aggressive baseline play and early forehand strikes. On quick indoor courts his serve-plus-forehand pattern can shorten points. The matchup tests Musetti’s ability to absorb pace and redirect returns.
