Borna Gojo and Daniel Altmaier are scheduled for an ATP singles match at the Lyon Open, listed for 22 October 2026 at 08:00 UTC. The pairing sets a serve-first Croatian against a German baseliner.
Borna Gojo: serve-first pressure
Gojo, from Croatia, is publicly associated with a powerful serve and aggressive first-strike tennis. Reports suggest he seeks short points and forehand control; the test is first-serve accuracy and avoiding loose baseline exchanges.
Daniel Altmaier: baseline consistency and matchup test
Altmaier, from Germany, is generally described as a patient baseliner who relies on rally tolerance and court coverage. The match tests Gojo’s service pressure against Altmaier’s return and ability to extend points; the event listing does not confirm surface details.
